How Much?
This 8-page article answered the question, "How much do Sukiya Living spaces cost?" The article was in JOJG's "Viewpoints" format, whereby the same question is asked to various experts and then their responses are listed side-by-side. The five experts who participated in this article included John Powell, Jim Hanselman, Tamao Goda, Ken Lamb, and J. Skuba. In addition to their general responses to the "How much?" question, the article also asked each of the experts to "bid" on an imaginary project that involved a Japanese garden, a wooden gate, a wooden enclosure fence, and various upgrades to an existing home. A blueprint of the imaginary project is featured in the article (see image, above). The detailed budgets for each of the five are listed side-by-side. The resulting data provides homeowners with a very clear idea about how much a complete project (and each of its components) might cost.
